Harsh northeast winters and oppressively humid summers finally got the best of Lyn and Betty Carita. They’ve traded their old New Jersey lifestyle for New Mexico’s blue skies and mild year-round climate.
But that’s not all. Their new life at Jubilee Los Lunas has brought new friends, new activities and a new level of joy to their lives. Instead of winter shoveling or the summer “stay inside to stay cool” syndrome, Lyn and Betty are exploring New Mexico from one end to the other, taking in the picture-perfect sights and rich history the state has to offer.
Their move wasn’t exactly planned. They found Jubilee Los Lunas by accident on a trip to Albuquerque. And that was it. Gated. Beautiful. Customizable home plans. A luxurious Villa with a host of indoor and outdoor amenities and activities. And best of all, friendly, wonderful, welcoming people. As Betty states, “We love our fully customized home and the wonderful people. Everyone we have met here at Jubilee has been extremely welcoming and hospitable!”
Trivial Pursuit matches, hikes along the trails winding around and through the community, climbing El Cerro (Jubilee’s adjacent mountain), visits to the Tractor Brewing Company in Albuquerque and breakfasts at Weck’s are just a few of the many things that Lyn and Betty find themselves doing year round. Such a change from the arm-chair lifestyle they left behind.
New Mexico changes people. Jubilee makes it easy. Lyn and Betty aren’t looking back. Life is good. Better. Every day.
