Where did you live before moving to Jubilee?
We lived in Corona, CA for 23 years which is located east of Orange County. We moved from Southern California because Mark was retiring and to escape from the fast paced lifestyle we had been living. We had both lived in Colorado when we were in our late 20’s and wanted to get back to the area.
How did you hear about Jubilee?
We had attended a home and garden show in Orange County, where one booth we visited advertised a 55+ community in Washington state. We were not interested in that community, but they also had a new development in New Mexico. We thought it might what we were looking for so we made plans to come out and visit during the Balloon Fiesta. We fell in love with the area and community.
What do you like most about living in Jubilee?
We really like many of the activities at the Villa such as working out at the fitness center and participating in the yoga classes. We also love the sense of community and how welcome everyone has made us feel.
What is your favorite cultural thing to do in Los Lunas or Albuquerque?
We enjoy visiting Old Town Albuquerque and Santa Fe. There are numerous museums and places of interest to visit. We like to go shopping for Native American pottery and the diverse art that is available in the area.
What is your favorite nature activity you do in and around Los Lunas?
Visiting the Bosque De Apache to see the waterfowl that migrate to the area every fall and winter is one of our favorite activities. It’s a unique and beautiful area.

We have really enjoyed the holiday parties because living so far for our relatives we really think of everyone here as our new extended family.
